Bank Care Assistant

  • Develop and review individual care plans for our ladies and gentlemen and provide personal care in line with them, enhancing their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing;
  • Undertake the role of a keyworker with a group of ladies and gents, engaging in both routine and social activities with them throughout the day;
  • Interact with the friends and family of people living with us, including attending review meetings. Meeting and greeting other visitors to the home.

Though previous experience is desirable, the right approach and willingness to undertake full training is far more important to us. You will be part of team who believe in respecting every person as a unique individual, treating them with the dignity you would wish for yourself.

It is an expectation of all staff to have vaccines or other essential health treatments, in line with Public Health guidelines and in relation to health and safety in an effort to protect yourself as well as others.

    In this role you will:

    • Promote, supervise and ensure that high standards of care are provided;
    • Support the Nurses to provide a high level of clinical service delivery;
    • Promote and ensure high standards of professional practise are maintained which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the individuals;
    • Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the service;
    • Provide person centred care in a safe, warm and friendly environment – in conjunction with Towerview Care’s visions and values;
    • Carry out clinical/nursing activities/audits/risk assessments/reviews based on training and competencies of an Assistant Practitioner.

    Full time or part-time considered, 12 hour shifts

    Skills, knowledge and qualifications required are:

    • A relevant NVQ level 3 qualification.
    • Medication administration and management qualification.
    • Experience in supporting Nurses to lead a shift.
    • Effectively lead and direct a team drawing clinical support from the Nursing team.
    • Prior experience with nursing people with mental health and or challenging behaviours.
    • The ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
    • Deliver person centred care at all times.

    It would be advantageous to have:

    • A knowledge of safeguarding processes.
    • Supervision and Appraisal delivery experience.
    • Effective team working track record.
    • Experience with CQC inspections.
    • Assistant Practitioner qualification.

    Behavioural Specialist / Psychology Assistant

    Part-time hours: 18.75 per week with the option of full-time hours for multi-site working

    £11-14ph

    Towerview Care provides residential nursing care to ladies and gentlemen of working and older age who have Mental health and complex care needs, which may include complex behaviours that are triggered by stress or distress. Now is an exciting time to join us as we are developing multi-disciplinary teams to enable person-centred holistic care.

    The team will work closely with community and hospital professionals to ensure responsive and timely interventions.

    This role is flexible in hours from part-time to full-time and working across different locations. Salary will be determined by the breadth of experience and level of clinical skill.
